Presbyterian Church of Christ
Organization

The Presbyterian Church of Christ is a congregation of the Presbyterian Church (U.S.A.). It belongs to the Presbytery of Great Rivers and the Synod of Lincoln Trails.

It is organized with Elders who, along with the Pastor, make up the Session. Two Elders are elected annually for a three year term. The Session is responsible for everything that happens within the church. The Session is responsible for both the spiritual welfare of the congregation and the maintenance of the physical buildings.

There is a six person Board of Deacons who are the caring arm of the church.

Except for during the summer months, the church has a church school for the children and youth. Short term classes for adults are also held throughout the year. During the summer, the church participates in the community union Vacation Bible School.

The Presbyterian Women are active in the church. They are organized into an afternoon and an evening circle. A major project are the rummage sales held throughout the year.
